The Annual Canterbury Snow Sale is brought to you by Canterbury University Snow Sports Club for 2026. Running for the 13th time, following the hugely successful sales in previous years. The Snow Sale will be held from 9am to 3pm on the 3rd of May (Sunday). Public gear drop off is 10am to 3pm 2nd of May (Saturday). Please see seller information for more details.
The Snow Sale allows anyone to bring in and sell their second hand snow gear alongside buying gear from local retail outlets. There will also be stall vendors present from the Canterbury snow sports community, including the clubbies selling discounted day passes and merch, retailers of hard and soft goods, and much more. We will have thousands of items of brand new and used gear for sale, so come along and take a look!
The Snow Sale has something for everyone. The gear ranges from beginner equipment to back country touring set ups, if you’re after a piece of new kit, the Snow Sale is the place for you. We also have a huge range of children’s gear, making it a great day out to get the whole family set up for the ski season! The second hand gear provides more accessibility for people from all walks of life to get into the mountains and get set up with awesome equipment.
